Jamie Glassford IBCLC is our in-house IBCLC. Jamie is in-network with many insurance companies, which covers her services for lactation classes, support groups, and one-on-one lactation sessions, both at the birth center and at home.

Lactation Classes

This live virtual class covers topics such as anatomy of the breast, the first latch, nursing positions, making breast milk, what to expect during lactation and breastfeeding, pumping and bottles, and more.

If you have a qualifying insurance, there is no cost to attend class. If you do not have qualifying insurance, it is $75 per family.

Lactation Support Group
at Mind Body Birth Center
Come talk and practice all things baby feeding - the art of feeding, as well as evidence-based feeding topics. Get support, connect with other lactating parents, and feel more prepared and confident in feeding your baby.
All feeding journeys are welcome.

Meet one-on-one with Jamie Glassford, IBCLC, or Julie Matheney, IBCLC, for personalized lactation support. Visits are available virtually or in person at your home, the birth center, or at their Westside office, and are covered by many insurance plans.
~ Medi-Cal Insurance Coverage
For families with Medi-Cal or needing sliding scale options, we work closely with Lydia Boyd IBCLC for lactation support and in-person visits at the MLK Lactation Clinic in Lynwood, California.
